I have read every one of his novels that I can get my hands on and now I’m going after the short stories that pop up on Amazon. Entertaining..I enjoyed very much..I felt this 2nd book moved a little faster than the first one..I thought both books very good and I have found a new author.
After reading for the first Trial Junkies book, which I really enjoyed, buying the sequel was a no-brainer. I really like the main character, Hutch, because he is portrayed as HUMAN, instead of superhuman, like so many other over-the-top protagonists. While the book had a good plot, I just couldn't totally buy into Hutch's (and some of the other character's) behavior. I felt as if I were watching a Nightmare on Elm Street movie, thinking to myself, "No! Don't go in there!" There's a fine line between portraying a character with flaws and one who just does stupid things. Not sure the author walked that line well enough. All in all, a good, not great, read.
I had never heard of Robert Browne until I read his first book in the trial junkies series. Now I can't get enough , great story and a fast paced read. I highly recommend this book and can't wait for number three.
This book was very easy to read quickly. It was good enough that I was disappointed when I noticed I was nearing the end of the book. Suspense built throughout the book, and there was more than one surprise. The several interwovenn stories made the book more interesting, too.
If you enjoyed Browne's first Trial Junkies book, you won't be disappointed in his second Trial Junkies book. I'm looking forward to his third,
excellent surprising well written this is one I did not want to put down I often purchase books because of the author this is one I got on a "deal" day It sounded good I have never read anything he had written but will from now on
The opening chapter about turned me off with its descriptive violence. I wanted mystery not horror. Still, I pushed through and was very pleased with the rest of the book. It was well written and I got lost in parts of the story. I am glad I kept reading to the end.
I read the first book, "Trial Junkies", and found it hard to out down, so I saw this one and it is even better. The author gets your attention right away and keeps it throughout the whole book. It is a very easy read and again hard to put it down. I hope for a "Trial Junkies" 3, 4, 5 and so on. Highly recommend !
